Linda--

I just wanted to thank you again for a really terrific, supportive class.  (It took me a while to wind down yesterday after my set, so I couldn't articulate this at the time.)  You really helped me get over my inner writing critic and "just do it".  You were also terrific in providing prompt feedback, especially on the e-mail material.  I couldn't have asked for a better class, and I'm talking it up to anyone and everyone (you may get a couple of more students from my friends who came yesterday).

I can't take the December class, since I have to orchestrate a move, but I"ve made a note to check in again in January and will probably take it again then.

One question:  The general feedback I've gotten on my performance is that my presence, timing and acting were all fine, but that the material might be too specialized or intellectual for stand-up, and that I should try for more "universal," broader material.  I'm curious as to your thoughts on that; I can always use the material I worked at Caroline's as the basis for a more theatrical monologue or one-woman show, and do other stuff for stand-up.

Anyway, thanks again, and I"d love to see you perform sometime!

Regards,

Beth
